Hi! I’m Stephen

Welcome to my at-home cooking workshop where I share recipes that allowed me to survive for 26 long years.

I started this website in order to demonstrate that cooking is a great way to save money and have fun for people who are open to experimenting. I would consider someone that cooks well for the normal standard. Not to say that everything I make is good. On the contrary, most of the dish I cook doesn’t taste good and I sometimes force myself to finish it. (But hey, at least I can create a meal out of it.) Because I have done so much cooking in my life, I use cooking to document my life where the fondest memories I have I can tell you what I have been making during that period.

I believe good food is not only about how it tastes but who you taste it with.

I’m a passionate food eater that loves to cook and finding out cool and new recipes from around the world.

I was born in Canada and growing up, I was exposed to only my mom’s cuisine. It wasn’t until 2016 when I started to cook myself. My first dish was tacos made from scratch with the ground beef. I remember taking a scooter and going to a Mexican grocery store to buy ancho chili peppers. (ended up not using it cause I was scared of it) What got me into cooking was when I first started sweating onions and garlic and this delicious smell is soo distinct cause I smelled it all the time when my mom used to cook. This brought a core memory that will always stay within me. From then, all i did was cook. Cooking for my friends and family all the time. I had applied for cooking school twice and got rejected each time. I went on to study at a business school. During my last semester of University, I took a semester abroad to South Korea and this trip changed my life. A new culture and so many things to do, I immersed myself in so many different avenues and made a lot of friends along the way.

I presently blog about my food adventure and spend most of my time on social media like Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok.

Now I invite you to have a look at anything that looks compelling and if you have any questions, feel free to ask away in the comment sections or write me a small email, there should be an email form somewhere.
